tlnk.kr does not let you pick the code part of the path, but it does let you choose a subdomain name such as yourname.tlnk.kr for free, which is how the service supports a custom, brand-visible short link.

What is the difference between the automatic code and a custom name?
The default link looks like tlnk.kr/Ab3dE9, with an automatically generated 6-character code that you cannot choose the characters of. Codes of 3 characters or fewer are not available either.
Instead, tlnk.kr lets you choose the subdomain part in front of the domain, as in mybrand.tlnk.kr. This subdomain name is effectively tlnk.kr's "custom name" feature.
What rules apply to a subdomain name?
A name must be 4–32 characters, using only lowercase letters, digits and hyphens. If the name you want is already taken by another link, you will need to choose a different one.
Once created, an HTTPS certificate for that subdomain is issued automatically. For a very short time before it is issued, the link may only be reachable over plain http, so it is worth confirming it loads correctly over https before you share it.

Do custom-name links go through the same safety checks?
Yes. Just like an automatic-code link, tlnk.kr checks the destination domain's registration age, whether it is reachable, whether it is on a block or malware/phishing list, and whether it contains illegal-content keywords; details are in what is a URL shortener.
If the destination fails these checks, the link will not be created even if your chosen name is available, so confirm a recently launched destination site meets the 1-month (30-day) registration guideline first.

No. The path code is always an automatically generated 6 characters and cannot be chosen. The only part you can choose yourself is the subdomain name.

Can I rename a link I already created?
Changing the name itself is effectively the same as creating a brand-new link under the new name. The existing link can only have its destination changed; if renaming is really necessary, contact the site administrator.
