How do I read a short link's click stats?
tlnk.kr gives non-members a private stats link when a short link is created, and gives members a dashboard on their account page showing clicks, country, device and referrer broken down by date.

How do non-members check their stats?
When you create a link, the result screen shows a dedicated stats address (containing a secret key) along with a management password. Clicking [email it to me] on that screen sends you the stats address so you can find it again later.
With the management password you can log in at /manage using your email and password to pause or resume the link, add a note, or change its destination. Clicking [get password] sends you every link created with that email address so you can manage them all at once.
Where do members view stats?
Links created while signed in are all collected on your account page, so there is no need to save a separate address. From there you can change a link's destination, pause or resume it, add notes, and view its stats all on one screen.
What metrics does the stats page show?
You can see total clicks, a human-versus-bot breakdown, unique visitors, the visitor's country and city, their device, browser and OS, which referrer sent them, and a day-by-day trend.
To separate stats by platform, combine this with UTM tags on the destination URL as described in how to add UTM parameters, creating a distinct link per channel.

Frequently asked questions
What if I lose the stats address or password?
If you had it emailed to you, you can find it again in that email. If you have no record of it at all, you will need to contact the site administrator.
Are bot clicks counted in the stats?
Yes, but the stats page separates human visits from bot traffic, so you can view the real human click count on its own.
Are stats updated in real time?
Clicks are added to the totals as soon as they happen, so refreshing the stats page shows the latest numbers.
If I sign up later, will links I created as a non-member show up on my account page?
Links created without an account are managed separately with a management password, so if you want everything in one place on your account page, it is easier to be signed in from the moment you create each link.
